Kristín Sólveig Kristjánsdóttir
My background is a mix of clinical and practical skills. I have a BSc. in nursing from the University of Iceland in then I went on to obtain an MSc. in medical health informatics jointly from Iceland and the University of Minnesota. I have also completed courses on adult education, software testing and project management at the University of Iceland. As for practical work experience in the Health IT industry that has been gained over seven years designing and implementing clinical solutions for TM software in Iceland, Denmark, Holland and Germany. Clinical practice in E.R. nursing stems from over 8 years of working in both Iceland and Norway. Currently I am studying medicine in Denmark.
My interest in SESAM was triggered by the fascinatingly pragmatic approach to interprofessional training and intelligent use of preexisting knowledge and technique to healthcare.
