Website Manager

Dear SESAM members,

Ron Brendel is supporting SESAM's EC as a website manager.

His career in emergency medicine started at the ambulance services in Utrecht, in the middle of the Netherlands. After receiving a teaching degree his careerpath changed and he became Head of the Educational Department of the Regional Ambulance Service Utrecht (RAVU). Being a strong educational organisation, they discovered the progress of medical simulation training in Europe. After receiving his Master degree in Educational Science he developed the MEdical Training and Simulation Centre (METS Center). The METS Center aims to create a boost in medical simulation training in the Netherlands. As medical simulation is farely new in the Netherlands, METS Center appreciate every international contact and are therefore glad to be involved in SESAM.

The job as SESAM website manager is to provide the EC with creative ideas about the website. Next to that he will anticipate as much as possible on the wishes of the SESAM EC regarding the website. For the items he cannot solve himself he will be the contact between SESAM EC and the company which maintains the website technically.
