What we are doing:

Teaching

BSC supports undergraduate classes of the Medicine course (such as Obstetrics, Gynecology, Pharmacology, Neonatology, etc), as well as postgraduate classes for future midwives.

This year (2006-2007), the Obstetrics Emergencies Course for interns, residents and midwives was started and we are also planning to have the Pediatric Basic Life Support Courses for general public.

Research

Together with INEB, BSC supports the research on medical educational simulator design, and training in obstetric acute care. Studies on the educational impact of medical simulation are being carried on in the areas of obstetrics and neonatology.

Scientific divulgation

CSB organizes and collaborates with scientific divulgation initiatives for the general population, namely through the organization and participation in meetings, visits and expositions.
