The ADAM simulation center was founded in 2007 as part of the Anesthesiology department. In the ADAM simulation center all kinds of training in CRM, Anesthesiology Skills and Difficult Airway Management are taught.

Our vision

Medical simulation is a cross-disciplinary effort that brings together providers, including nurses, physicians, and allied health professionals across a variety of disciplines with computer scientists, researchers, educators, and human factors engineers.

Our mission

is to enhance patient safety by teaching and implementing Crisis Resource Management (CRM) principles in Airway Management for multidisciplinary medical teams. Our overall goal is to create a highly informative, safe and enjoyable learning environment to make our courses as effective as possible.

Due to organizing all kinds of training and support of our national and international academic partners, the ADAM simulation center was able to open their own doors in the AmsterdamUMC on December 18 2014!
