The 16th Annual SESAM Meeting LINKING HIGH TECH TO HIGH TOUCH was a great succes. The SESAM EC would like to thank the local organizers in Groningen for a meeting of high quality. Click for an impression by Burkhard J. Wermter.
SESAM supports the organisation of high quality events in the field of medical simulation.
Organisers of SESAM Endorsed Meetings are authorised to use the SESAM logo and the sentence <<(name of the meeting) is endorsed by SESAM>> when marketing their event.

Please contact SESAM at contact@sesam-web.org if you are interested in making your meeting a SESAM Endorsed Meeting.
For 2010 the following meetings are granted for SESAM endorsement:
Physiology in Simulation 2010, Bristol, UK
Pediatric Days, 5-8.June 2010, Hannover, Germany
In 2009 two meetings applied for and were granted the SESAM endorsement.
The Interdisciplinary Symposium Simulation in Medicine (InSiM), took place in Munich, Germany 15-16 October 2009 (www.insim.info). The meeting brings together mainly German speaking people from Germany, Switzerland, Austria and other countries. InSim has meanwhile a tradition of 7 years and attracted about 130 participants this year. The next InSim will take place in Basel, Switzerland – to make it easy on the same days: 15-16. October 2010.
The Specific Intensive Instructor Training for Paediatric Life Support Courses was SESAM endorsed, because it brought together faculty from different institutions. It took place in Brixen, Südtirol from 15-17 December 2009. Another plus for the endorsement was the preparation and debriefing of the course – connecting it to the wider context of pediatric simulation.
