The SESAM 2018 Annual Meeting will be held at the Euskalduna Conference Centre, located on the bank of the Nervión River occupying a site which was once a thriving shipyard.

The venue was built in 1999 and is named after the last vessel ever to be built at the shipyard. Built to resemble a ship under construction, the contemporary structure has won several architectural awards and pays tribute to the steelmaking and shipbuilding traditions that operated here in the decades prior.
