The Medical Simulation Training Center (CUSIM) aims to increase the safety of the medical act and increase the patient's safety by implementing modern methods of education and medical practices based on simulation, which enable the acquisition of the right medical skills and abilities in an organized, after a well-structured program and, very importantly, without risk to the patient, with the reduction of errors and, finally, the qualitative improvement of the healthcare provided to the population.
CUSIM was inaugurated on August 29, 2013 and constitutes a subdivision of the State University of Medicine and Pharmacy "Nicolae Testemitanu". It is founded in full compliance with the Program for the Development of Medical and Pharmaceutical Education in the Republic of Moldova for the years 2011-2020, with the financial support of the European Union, for building and affirming a European area of knowledge and quality assurance of education and medical practice.
