With our continued focus on ensuring the sustainability of the Society, SESAM members recently approved amends to the bylaws introducing new positions to the Executive Committee (EC).

Members at Large will hold the position on the EC for two (2) years (2024-2026)

Responsibilities will include the following:1

• Communities of Practice (CoP)
• Affiliations
• Accreditation 
• Industry liaison 
• Mentoring 
• Member of Financial Working Group led by Treasurer

We are now inviting nominations for three (3) Members at Large, with the following timeline:

Nomination process

• Tuesday 9 April: Recruitment webinar #1 
• Wednesday 10 April: Nominations open
• Thursday 18 April: Recruitment webinar #2 
• Tuesday 30 April: Nominations close 
• Monday 6 May – Sunday 19 May: Elections 
• Tuesday 21 May: Results confirmed 
• Thursday 20 June: Onboarding in Prague; formal appointment at Annual General Meeting (AGM). Members at Large to attend Annual Meeting; to be invited to EC meeting Monday 17 June (at own expense).
