The Centre of Maritime Health Service is part of the Danish Maritime Authority and is situated on Fanoe.

The Centre train Danish and foreign seamen sailing on Danish flagged ships to be in charge of medical care. You have to be an educated seaman to participate in our planned courses.

Approximately 1300 seaman a year participate in one of our courses.

We approximately run 110 courses a year. Most of them in Denmark – some in Mumbai India. The courses last from 2 to 10 days and the number of participants in each course are between 4 and 12.
