The High-Fidelity Simulation Area of the School of Nursing of the University of Barcelona, started in the 2009-2010 academic year, with the objective that the undergraduate and postgraduate students develop skills and competencies.

This clinical training standardizes the development of technical skills (procedures) and non-technical skills (decision making, critical thinking, communication and teamwork) in a unidisciplinary and interdisciplinary way throughout their academic training, in a controlled and safe environment that mimics the clinical-practice reality, without risk for the patient, focused on the student and with immediate feedback from the teaching staff.

Since the academic year 2011-2012, more than 900 students have been trained every year and it has the participation of 10 teachers and 20 clinical nurses.
