SIRMED's core competence is to provide education and training in the field of emergency medicine.
We aim to ensure that patients receive the best possible care in the prehospital and the acute care settings within the hospital.
Therefore we train a variety of people, from first aiders to professional prehospital emergency care workers, and the staff of the ER, OR and ICU.
Our methods range from traditional lecturing over skills training to high-fidelity simulation. Our courses either have standardised or customised content and are delivered either in our simulation facilities in the heart of Switzerland or in situ.
As a member of the EuSim group, we are conducting simulation instructor training in order to help to spread the approach of simulation-based education in healthcare.
