Dear Friends and Colleagues,
A warm spring greeting to you all.
We are getting very excited for SESAM 2017, with only one month to go.
Don't miss the extended Early Bird registration deadline: 10 May 2017!
We are looking forward to welcoming you in Paris between 14-16 June, 2017 for SESAM 2017. The congress includes many scientific activities, poster/oral presentations, workshops, roundtables, expert panels and social events.
The programme is not only filled with great scientific content but we also have a very attractive social programme including the Gala Dinner at the famous Eiffel Tower. Please click below to get information on the social programme.
We are very excited to announce the three special tracks in our scientific programme which are:
Société Francophone de Simulation en Santé (SoFraSimS)
International Pediatric Simulation Society (IPSS)
The Gathering Of Healthcare Simulation Technology Specialists (SimGHOSTS).
We have managed to negotiate preferential rates for SESAM delegates at four hotels, which are only a short Metro ride from the Centre Universitaire des Saints-Pères.
The hotels available are:
Mercure Paris Gare de Lyon TGV 4*
Novotel Pare Gare de Lyon 4*
Mercure Pare Gare Montparnasse 4*
Novotel Paris Les Halles 4*

SESAM accreditation programme offers you the opportunity to demonstrate your institution's quality.
With this programme an institute can be judged and validated by an independent body, internationally recognised as an opinion leader in the domain of simulation-based education in healthcare. The use of the "Accredited by SESAM" Logo is a quality marker which will allow your institution to stand out and further underline its high-quality standards.
You can access more detailed information on our web page. In January, the newly formed SESAM Accreditation Group (SAG) met in Frankfurt and some members of the SAG also met again in Orlando, in order to establish a common understanding and internal procedures for the accreditation process. Both meetings were very successful, and the first results of the accreditation process for simulation-based educational institutions will be presented at our 2017 Annual Meeting in Paris.
Adances in Simulation (AIS)
AIS is the official journal of SESAM; it provides a forum to share scholarly practice to advance the use of simulation in the context of health and social care.
Part of SESAM’s mission is to encourage and support the use of simulation in healthcare for the purpose of training and research; we are happy to learn about and publish the results of your research via AIS.
We kindly invite you all to visit the journal's webpage, to read the valuable articles relevant to simulation, as well as submitting your own manuscripts to be reviewed and published.
