Dear Friends and Colleagues,
As we enter the winter season with the last month of the year, we are all looking forward to spending time with our loved ones over the festive period ahead.
On behalf of the EC and the Worldspan team, I would like to wish you all a peaceful and blessed holiday period.
The last two months have been busy for us. We had to make the difficult decision to change the location of SESAM 2018 from Barcelona to Bilbao.
A complex mix of reasons has led to the unexpected closure of some of the venues we were planning to use for the meeting in Barcelona. This, coupled with the inability to find suitable alternative venues in the city within the remaining time, has led SESAM, in coordination with SESSEP, to opt to move the meeting to Bilbao on the same planned dates (27th to 29th June 2018).
Bilbao is a thriving city in the north of Spain, celebrated for its urban regeneration. It is home to the Guggenheim Museum Bilbao for contemporary art and is a centre of Basque culture.

More Information to Follow
The inaugural S3 Conference took place in Singapore between 31 October and 4 November 2017.
This was Asia's first collaborative simulation meeting, and was hosted by the SingHealth Duke-NUS Institute of Medical Simulation (SIMS) in partnership with SESAM (from Europe) and SimGHOSTS (from the USA).
Almost 500 delegates attended from all around the world.
The 3rd Conference on Compromised/Difficult Airway & Laryngotracheal Stenosis
The conference was held in Izmir, Turkey on 24-25 November 2017, and endorsed by the European Airway Management Society (EAMS) and SESAM.
The first day consisted of lectures, while on the second there was a cadaveric dissection course about Laryngeal Stenosis and a hands-on workshop about Compromised/Difficult Airway, which was performed by experts.
Simulation Centre Network Project
We are inviting all Simulation Centres throughout Europe, both large and small, to present their centre and the courses they run for inclusion in our Sim Centre Network. We believe this network will enable better communication with simulation enthusiasts and be a great opportunity for sharing information between Simulation Centres in Europe.
Finally, we would like to remind you that you can renew your membership at any point during the year and enjoy a rolling year's membership.
