Centrum Simulační Medicíny KARIM 1.LF UK a ÚVN Praha, Czech Republic

Our simulation center provides the opportunity to practice a wide range of practical procedures used in urgent medicine and their application in the resolution of particular clinical scenarios. We emphasize the training of cooperation in a team, including communication skills based on the CRM (Crisis Resource Management) concept. Since 2014 a large number of paramedics, nurses, as well as medical students have undergone required resuscitation training using our simulation of urgent resuscitation. Training of specific critical situations during anesthesia and intensive care is also provided for the education of anaesthesia specialists. We participate in the Combat Life Saver (CLS) courses of the Czech Armed Forces.
