We are inviting all Simulation Centres throughout Europe, both large and small to present their centre and the courses run for inclusion in a Simulation Centre Network.  This is accessible to everyone via our website and we believe will provide:

  • better communication with Simulation enthusiasts.
  • information sharing between Simulation Centres.
  • an updated list of Simulation Centres in Europe.

Royal Surrey County Hospital Simulation Centre (UK)


Guildford, United Kingdom

Medical Simulation has been established at Royal Surrey County Hospital and viewed as a centre of excellence by the Deanery. It has been committed to deliver realistic and immersive simulation with close attention to detail. The service is constantly evolving, driven by a committed team with high standards. We are responsive and reactive to participant feedback. Simulation is delivered on site within a twin bedded Skills area and periodically at the University of Surrey. Future plans involve using high fidelity simulators and mobile observation equipment bringing Simulation to the Multidisciplinary team and allowing real process and systems of work analysis.


Scottish Centre for Simulation and Clinical Human Factors


The Scottish Centre for Simulation and Clinical Human Factors is a state of the art multi-professional training facility. We run simulation-based courses for hospital healthcare staff - from nursing auxiliaries to anaesthetic consultants, as well as industry-based personnel such as off-shore gas platform medics. In addition, we facilitate workshops and provide lectures on non-technical skills and human factors for healthcare personnel, higher education institutions and business.

SFERA (Scuola di Alta Formazione Educazione e Ricerca di Fondazione Poliambulanza), has set up a highfidelity simulation center. Its purpose is to promote advanced training programs for healthcare professionals in different clinical areas (anesthesiology, neonatal, obstetric) and for scientific research. SFERA through simulation, offers an effective method for specialists, in fact, using sophisticate technologies, it is possible to reproduce realistic scenarios that do not put the patient at risk, allow the operator to reflect on his actions and improve teamwork.


SIMANNU


Nuoro, Sardegna

SIMANNU is a medical simulation centre that came to life as a department of AILUN (Association for the Institution of the Free University of Nuoro) on February the 2nd, 2012. Since then, a huge number of educational events have been organized using CRM method (Crisis Resource Management) with team work training, appropriate communication and effective implementation of available resources.
